Welshpool In-Lamb Ewe Sale Report

The Yearling ewes kicked off the sale with the Show Champion on the day (Lot 4006) TOM/21/965 ‘Statesman Willow’ reaching the highest price on the day at 500gns, selling to GR & B Wilson, Fishguard.
The second highest price of the day, another yearling from the Statesman consignment and achieving 3rd in class was (Lot 4008) MFF/21/349 ‘Yarburgh Wilderness’ selling for 400gns, again to GR & B Wilson, Fishguard.
Following the sale of the yearling ewes, the aged ewes sold well with the Pre-Sale Show Reserve Champion (Lot 4021) HMS/19/424 from H.M. Shakespeare making top price aged ewe at 350gns, again selling to GR & B Wilson, Fishguard.
The second highest price in the Aged Ewe section at 320gns was joint with the 2nd in class (Lot 4018) YKK/19/205 ‘Janos Ultra Cool’ from Mr C Morse, selling to Mr C Gwynne, Glannant Flock and the 3rd in class (Lot 4013) TOM/19/820 from Mr T Stayt, selling to B Welsh, Ayrshire.
