HANBURY COUNTRYSIDE SHOW 2022
The 75th annual Hanbury Show will be held on Saturday 2nd July 2022 and is a fantastic summer outing for the whole family. Open from 9 am to 6 pm, the show is a wonderful and exciting day out with plenty of displays, entertainment and local food. With more than 700 exhibitors, 200 trade stands and over 300 competitions, activities and displays.
For those who have never attended the Show before, Hanbury Countryside Show is a showcase event for farming, the countryside and rural life. The one-day event brings together the very best of rural Worcestershire with fantastic displays of horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, horticulture and much much more.
Once again we would like to thank all our exhibitors, competitors and visitors who attended the 2021 Hanbury Summer Show. We had a record attendance who were able to enjoy a vast range of entertainment, competitions, retail and networking opportunities. We would also like to thank our wonderful volunteers, without them we wouldn’t be able to run the Show.

InformationThe Hanbury Showground is situated in between Droitwich and Redditch on the B4090, approximately 5 miles from Junction 5 of the M5. Tickets are charged at the full rate throughout the day. The last entry to the showground is at 5.00 pm. TICKET PRICES – 2022E-TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE. When accompanied by an adult TICKET NUMBERS ARE LIMITED AND ADVANCE PURCHASING IS ADVISED AS GATE SALES MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE THIS YEAR FREE PARKING Funds raised are for the benefit of continuing the charitable activities of Hanbury Countryside Show Society Ltd. DOGSVisitors are welcome to bring their dogs to the show as long as they are kept on a short lead and remain under control. Owners are also responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Please note dogs are strictly not permitted in the Food Hall, Livestock Areas, Poultry and Horticultural Marquees. Dogs are strictly not to be left in cars. LOST AND FOUND CHILDRENIf you lose a child on the showground please report immediately to a steward. Similarly if you find a lost child please report to a steward as soon as possible. If a child (or other vulnerable person) is found, or reported lost, immediate contact should be made with Show Secretary or any show steward, show security or the police. Once reported people should wait until a Society official arrives. IDENTIFICATION WRISTBANDSWristbands will be available at the two public entrance gates. Parents are encouraged to collect a wristband and write their mobile number/s on it before placing on the childs wrist. This is a great system to assist in resolving lost child situations. TOILETSToilets are situated at various locations around the Showground. Facilities for disabled visitors are also available at the rear of the Members Enclosure and alongside the Mobility Scooter collection point at the Oak Gate Entrance. BABY CHANGINGThere will be a small marquee situated close to the Secretary. HAND WASHING AND HYGIENEIt is strongly recommended that anyone coming into direct contact with animals should wash their hands immediately afterwards and in particular before eating. There will be hand washing stations located around the livestock area. Please ensure footwear is adequately disinfected on the mats provided at the entrance points into the livestock area. HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICYPlease use the following link to download and view our Health and Safety Policy. EMERGENCYShould an emergency occur at the show please contact the nearest steward who will be able to assist you. SMOKINGSmoking is prohibited in any enclosed or partially enclosed public area. Smoking is strictly forbidden in livestock areas. All cigarette ends should be disposed of once cooled in the bins provided. LOST AND FOUND PROPERTYIf you lose or find any valuables/lost property on the showground please report/take items to the Secretary’s Office located at the rear of the Members Enclosure. Please do not leave your belongings unattended at any time. The organisers will not be responsible for any loss of property at the Show. Lost property left after the day will be held at the Show Office for six months. Anyone wishing to claim lost items should contact the Show Secretary to arrange collection. Any items left after six months will be disposed of. GETTING HERE USING SAT NAVThe postcode most appropriate for Sat Nav is B96 6RD. DISABLED VISITORSWe have specific parking for our disabled visitors. Please show your Blue Parking badge to any of the parking attendants and they will direct you to the nearest space. Please be aware that disabled parking is limited so please arrive early to ensure a space. You are able to hire mobility scooters for collection and use at the Show. These will be situated by the Oak Gate Entrance. Please book online before the show at www.eventmobility.org.uk. If booking on show day, please be aware there will likely be limited availability. Any queries, (but not bookings) please call 01386 725391. Disabled toilets will be situated next to the scooter collection point at the Oak Gate Entrance, near the Farming Village and in the horse field. If you have any further queries please contact the Show Secretary on 07841 499660 DISABLED CARER / TA TICKET SCHEMEOne complimentary entry ticket will be available for a Carer / PA of a qualifying disabled visitor to enable them to access the show on the production of at least one of the following Supporting Documents: – Middle or Higher Rate DLA for care and/or mobility, – Receipt of personal independence payment (PIP) – Evidence of being severely sight impaired, – Recognised assistance dog ID card FIRST AIDFirst aid posts are situated at various locations. If you need their assistance at the show, please speak to the nearest steward who will be able to help you. CATERING AND BARSNumerous mobile catering units are located around the Showground and provide a wide choice of Snacks, Ice Cream, Sandwiches and Drinks. Several public bars around the Showground sell alcoholic drinks. The main public catering area is located next to the bandstand. INFORMATION POINTSInformation can be obtained from the Secretary’s Office and at the entrance gate. CARAVAN & MOTORHOME RALLYWorcestershire Centre Caravan & Motorhome Club will be running a rally on land adjoining the showground (B96 6RD); the rally will be held between Thursday 30th June and Sunday 3rd July 2022.
